There's never enough time to see all the things you want to see and do all the things you want to do when you travel to a new destination. Sri Lanka is certainly no exception. Here are a few things I didn't get to do in Sri Lanka... This time! 

After 3 solid years of every day life and travel to Thailand (3 times), Sri Lanka, Japan, India, Portugal, London, and all over the USA my favorite travel shoes from sanuk finally bit the dust. It was both a sad day and one that felt satisfying and full of accomplishment. I really love these shoes. They hold a lot of memories and major travel firsts for me. They were super comfy and versatile. The streamlined profile made them wearable with skirts without looked overly casual like some other canvas flats, but they were perfect for fully casual outfits too, of course!  I cherish the time we had together.
